Dubai City Tour

At 2:00 PM, departure for a half-day city tour, by coach and on foot. The tour begins with a drive to Dubai Marina. Built as a modern city within a city, this luxurious coastal district is a symbol of elegant and lavish living. We continue to the famous Palm Jumeirah, an engineering marvel at the heart of Dubai—an artificial palm-shaped island floating off the coast of the Persian Gulf. It is home to numerous exclusive villas, hotels and apartments, each with private access to the shoreline. Photo stop in front of the most famous hotel, Atlantis The Palm. We continue to Souk Madinat Jumeirah, where we will take a coffee break with a view of the iconic Burj Al Arab. The tour continues with a drive along Sheikh Zayed Road to the Al Bastakiya district, one of Dubai’s oldest quarters, reviving the spirit of the past amid the modern city. Here you’ll find museums, art galleries and colorful shops. Free time for a stroll and a visit to Dubai Museum, located in an 18th-century fort. After the break, we cross Dubai Creek on an “abra,” a traditional wooden boat, to the Deira district. Deira played an important role in the city’s history and is famous for its markets (souks).
We end today’s program at Dubai Mall, which with more than 1,200 stores is one of the largest shopping centers in the world. Free time for dinner at one of the restaurants overlooking Burj Khalifa and the fascinating Dubai Fountain water show on the artificial lake (every half hour between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM). Organized return to the hotel around 9:00 PM.
